Sitting on the west bank of the Squamscott River, Newfields is a small
(less than seven square miles) village located between Exeter and Newmarket.
Although it has grown considerably over the past 10 years, it has retained its
small town charm with just under 1,800 residents. . The school system is made up
of the Newfields Elementary School, students then go on to the
Cooperative Middle School and the Exeter Regional High School.
